During September chapter members worked very hard to have our 3/17 Wurlitzer ready for a planned September concert. The newly installed toy counter and quintadena rank were activated and fine-tuned to everyone's satisfaction with the exception of the chimes. All was ready to go when word was received of the sudden illness of one of the artists and the program had to be cancelled. We were able to reschedule for August of next year. All was not lost though as we pressed forward to complete the chime installation. This was completed in time for use during our presentation of the silent "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" on October 30-31. Jim Pitts from Waco, TX was the featured organist for this showing and did a superb job of accompanying the film as well as making appropriate use of the chimes where called for in the film.
