The NTC-ATOS presents the latest presentation in our 'Silents on the Square' series, Buster Keaton - In His Finer Moments.

The show starts with one of Buster Keaton's classic comedy shorts The Baloonatic, where A hapless amusement park attendant finds his run away balloon ride has left him in a strange predicament.

The show continues with Buster Keaton's first feature film Three Ages.
The rituals of courtship, romantic rivalry and love play out three times as a Man (Buster Keaton) vies with a Villain (Wallace Beery) for the Girl (Margaret Leahy). In the Stone Age, the rivalry is set off by dinosaurs, a turtle used as a Ouija board, and a round of golf with stones. In ancient Rome, the men display their brawn through a chariot race, using dogs instead of horses. In contemporary times, the Man finds himself overcome by modernity, including a very fragile car.

The movie will be enhanced with a musical score in the same manner as when the films were first shown in the early 1900"s by Mr Bill Rowland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Tickets are $12.00 in advance, or $14.00 at the door for adults, and $5.00 in advance, or $7.00 at the door for children 12 and under. Seniors 65 and over are free (ticket required).
